The Little Rook Kiosk

At the lower end of Streatham Common is one of South London’s biggest and most amazing playgrounds.
Providing fun and fresh air for children of all ages, it’s a wonderful place for those taking their first tiny steps, right up to big kids adventuring around on the giant timber climbing frames.
Roots & Berries runs the kiosk by the playground which we call The Little Rook, the baby brother of The Rookery Café. You’ll find the same perfectly crafted espresso-based coffee from Curious Roo Coffee Roasters as you’ll find at all our cafés, as well as yummy warm Belgian waffles and proper dairy Jude’s ice cream.
The Little Rook is open most days in the summer months, and weekends and school holidays when its colder.
If we’re not open when you visit, The Rookery Café is just a 10 minute walk away at the top of the Common.
